About
My name is Saad Almaghamsi.
I grew up in Saudi Arabia and started my academic life here, then spent more than a decade in the United States. That time had a big impact on how I think about work, institutions, technology, and how ideas actually turn into something real. I started on a fairly traditional academic path, but living and studying abroad opened things up. I was exposed to different ways of thinking, building, and organizing ideas into real systems. Over time, my interests moved beyond a single discipline and toward work that sits somewhere between ideas and execution, structure and experimentation.
After returning to Saudi Arabia, my work kept evolving alhamdullah. Academia plays an important role, but its pace is naturally slow. I found myself wanting to be closer to work where decisions happen earlier and where outcomes take shape more quickly. That gradually pulled me toward entrepreneurship, across both Saudi Arabia and the United States. I found this environment to be the most direct way to test ideas, build real systems, and help create paths that didn’t exist before. Some of this is long-term and personal; part of an effort to make things a little more navigable for my little fella, Majid, and his generation.
I’m focused on contributing where things are beginning to move, rather than where they’ve already settled.
I created this site as a simple space to reflect, share ideas in progress, and document work as it takes shape… inshallah!
